The Office of the President (OP) is said to be fuming over the shock signing of a P214 million contract with Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-Water) for the establishment of a comprehensive water management system for the Limpopo River.
The direct appointment, signed on Valentine’s Day by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Water and Human Settlement, Bonolo Khumotaka, has reportedly left those at OP furious as it appears to contradict the current administration’s efforts to implement austerity measures and curb government spending.
