The Ministry of Child Welfare and Basic Education has awarded a P654.4 million contract for the implementation of an integrated STEAM e-learning, coding and robotics programme to Emeritus Training Academy Botswana (Pty) Ltd through direct procurement, six months after the Court of Appeal cleared the way for the ministry to proceed with the company.
Documents seen by Sunday Standard show that the ministry received the financial evaluation submission on 25 June 2026, adjudicated it the same day and approved the award on the very same date. The adjudication decision was only published on 8 July 2026.
