Following a decision by the government to reverse a decision in which lawyer Joao Carlos Salbany was classified as Prohibited Immigrant (PI), he has said that he will arrive back in Botswana today.
Speaking from neighbouring South Africa, Salbany told Sunday Standard that he is travelling back to Botswana and is expecting to be in the capital Gaborone this evening.
Salbany’s name was over the weekend found amongst the notorious list of Illegal Immigrants, a move that shock the country and almost broke the internet.
