Sefalana anticipates strong profit growth despite shortened FY

Sefalana, a leading retail and wholesale group, expects its profit before tax for the 52-week period ending April 28, 2024, to increase by 9 to 11 percent compared to the prior year, despite the current financial year being one week shorter.

The company reported a profit before tax of P403 million for the 53-week period ending April 30, 2023. For the year under review, Sefalana anticipates profits to range between approximately P36 million and P44 million.
