Seretse back at Defence, Justice and Security

President Ian Khama has re-appointed Ramadeluka Seretse as Minister of Defence, Justice and security after the latter was acquitted of corruption. Seretse was acquitted the graft charges on Tuesday.

The re-appointment has not raised any surprise. It has long been seen as coming seeing how Khama never appointed anyone to the substantive position when Seretse resigned his position to clear his name in the courts.

Edwin Batshu who acted in the position is now the new Minister of Labour and Home Affairs taking over from Peter Siele who himself is the new Minister of Local Government.

Nonofo Molefhi is now the Minister of Transport and Communications taking over from Frank Ramsden.
