The African Centre for Governance Election Observation Mission (ACG-EOM) has declared Botswana’s October 30, 2024, general elections as free, fair, and credible. ACG-EOM cited a well-managed electoral process that adhered to both national and international standards. In its preliminary statement, ACG-EOM lauded the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) for upholding the integrity of the electoral process, despite certain logistical challenges.
