The Evangelical Fellowship of Botswana (EFB), an umbrella body of Evangelical Christian churches and Christians across the country has expressed outrage at some “antichristian” provisions of the recently gazetted Constitution (amendment) bill 2024.
In a statement to the Sunday Standard signed by Pastor David Seithamo, EFB said it “noted with considerable concern”, the publication through the 12th March 2024 Extraordinary Issue of the Government Gazette, of a Constitution [Amendment] Bill 2024 by the Government of Botswana, with intent to pass it into law through our national Parliament.
