In 2008 the Government of Botswana established a Presidential Taskforce to among others consult with the public on social ills afflicting the nation with a view to address social ills that are eroding Botswana’s social values
The report of the taskforce was ultimately approved in 2010 culminating in what came to be known as the National Strategy for the Promotion of good Social Values.
