Three of the Tutume Combi accident victims released from hospital

Following the fatal accident that claimed 8 lives from a public vehicle that was heading for Francistown from Tutume last week, three victims have been discharged from hospital. The Public Relations Officer at Nyangabwe Referral Hospital, Caiphus Gabana, told Sunday Standard last week in an interview that out of five victims who had been hospitalized, three were discharged and two of them were recovering very well. He mentioned that among the discharged patients was the driver of the combi. The vehicle was ferrying people from Tutume to Francistown and the driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned. It is suspected that a tyre burst could have caused the accident.
