Ukraine has reached out to Botswana for support over Russia’s invasion, among other things, Gaborone confirmed this week.
This follows an announcement on twitter by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba that he held discussions with his Botswana counterpart Lemogang Kwape on cooperation within international organizations.
“I had a call with Botswana’s Foreign Minister Lemogang Kwape to discuss steps to strengthen bilateral relations. We also focused on cooperation in international organizations,” the Ukrainian minister said.
