We Do Not Want to Dispossess Dube – BNSC Responds

In response to Dube’s accusations, BNSC has denied it intends to dispossess Dube and his company the ownership of the event.

“The allegations levelled against the BNSC suggesting that they are party to a scheme to dispossess the Golden Door Sports Agency (GDSA) of the rights to the Botswana Golden Grand Prix are both untruthful and misleading,” the commission responded.

In a press statement released a few hours after Dube’s emotional press briefing, the BNSC says it ‘has supported the Event from its infancy.’ It goes on to say its support for the event dates ‘back to the days it was a competition organised by the Sportsview Runners Club, through being the Gaborone International Meet and a Continental Tour Bronze event.’
