Gaborone: The wine trading industry in Botswana is witnessing a rapid growth in wine distribution and consumption in recent times. Traditionally, alcoholic beverages such as imported beer, cognac and whisky are widely consumed in the country. However, the popularization of wine has completely transformed the landscape of alcohol consumption. This is because, unlike other beverages, wine communicates connotations of high culture and global discerning palates.
With this note, we at Instinct Media Company presents the inaugural “WINE IN MAY’’ event to be held on Saturday 28th May 2022 at the ATHENA GARDENS-NOTWANE. This is a business and lifestyle event that profiles and celebrates African wineries and by extension empowering Botswana local wine distributors and retailers.
The event presents an opportunity to taste a vast selection of wines paired with delicious food prepared by our local chefs. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or simply interested in trying something new, the WINE IN MAY Experience will offer a special interaction to discover life’s simplest indulgences! From sweet treats to mouthwatering bites– there’s something for everyone at this year’s event. A full list of exhibitors and samples will be announced as the event date approaches.
Other add on experiences will include but not limited to music, crafts market and the Cigar Lounge where guests can sample a wide variety of Cigars and a stunning photo booth where attendees can capture their Insta-worthy moments.
