13th Parliament: What does it look like? 

The 13th Parliament is historic in that it is the first to be constituted following a change of government after an uninterrupted rule of Botswana Democratic Party for 58 years. Botswana has for a long time been showered with accolades for its maintenance of multi party democratic system without backsliding to undemocratic alternatives. It has never postponed elections. Whilst this was a marvel, the country was a de facto one-party state with the ruling party winning all the 12 elections.
