This is a tribute to the departed Member of Parliament for Kgalagadi South and Minister of Lands and Agriculture Dr Micus Chimbombi. It is with great anguish and sadness that we have lost our beloved brother and Comrade Chimbombi. There is no doubt that he will be dearly missed by his family, colleagues and comrades and friends. My hope is that they draw strength and find solace in God Almighty. For Kahlil Gibran succinctly and profoundly posits that for life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one and that in the depth of our hopes and desires lies our silent knowledge of the beyond.
