Police in Kgatleng are investigating the death of a man who is suspected to have been murdered and left to be eaten by wild animals.
This is the second case of its kind in Kgatleng.
“We are investigating a case in which a fifty-year-old man from Majana near Dibete Village was reported missing since the 26th of last month,” Detective Superintendent, Phenyoitsele Nnawakoko, of Mochudi Police Station, told The Telegraph in an interview.
Nnawakoko said the man’s decomposed body was found on the 3rd of this month, a few meters away from his house and part of his body is suspected to have been eaten by wild animals.
“We strongly believe that the deceased might have been murdered and we already have information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect who resides in Dibete Village.”
Nnawakoko said the suspect is still at large but the police were hoping to arrest him soon.
A few weeks Shadreck Makobye, a former teacher at Seepapitso Secondary School in Kanye, went missing on his way to his home in Mochudi.
His decomposed body was found hanging from a tree, with parts of his body eaten by wild animals.
