Aon Botswana extends CSI to education

Aon Botswana has donated over 500 books to the Ministry of Education. The book, titled Astronomy for South Central Africa, has a foreword by the first president of the Republic of Zambia, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, and it has also been endorsed by Sir Patrick Moore, a world famous Astronomer.

“A number of factors convinced us at Aon that this would be a worthwhile project: The uniqueness of the manuscript itself as it is specific to astronomy in our region, And The fact that the manuscript had been endorsed by Sir Patrick Moore, a world famous astronomer and who was at the forefront of educating people via various media, including BBC TV, for many years as this went a long way in establishing the credibility of the manuscript,” said Dr Thapelo Matsheka, the Managing Director of Aon, when handing over the books.
