The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Southern Region Committee threw out Finance Minister and Goodhope-Mmathethe Constituency hopeful Peggy Serame’s appeal despite its findings that the primary elections held in the area were marred by irregularities.
In its report, the Southern Region Committee (SRC) noted that voting was conducted on different dates on 20th and 21st July 2024. “The SRC noted further that this was contrary to what was communicated through a letter dated 16th July 2024 penned down by the Secretary General Kavis Kario,”
