Botswana has officially shifted to a single national pump price for fuel, ending the long-standing system where motorists in different parts of the country paid varying prices at the pump. The Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority (BERA) implemented the change at midnight on 8 November 2025, marking one of the most significant reforms to the country’s fuel pricing framework in recent years.
