A smart solar technology and automation company called Civic Smart Energy is the latest entrant into Botswana’s burgeoning energy market. Only eight years after establishing presence in South Africa and Zambia, the company already generates 16 Mw, with a growth of 100 Kw a week. Such output will increase significantly as it starts operating in Botswana – and elevates its status to a multinational.
