The Botswana Confederation of Commerce Industry and Manpower (BOCCIM) will hold its annual Business Golf Day on August 9 at Gaborone Golf Club. The event is one of the Premier events on the BOCCIM calendar and is meant to bring together Premier Businesses together both small and large.
The businesses are from all the sectors of the economy in Botswana as well as others from neighbouring countries to network and market their products while playing golf. The theme of the golf day is ‘Enhancing Competitive Relationships.’
The golf day also provides businesses with an opportunity to meet with their current and potential customers, suppliers and financiers as well as encouraging fair business practices when businesses meet to forge a meaningful partnership. The BOCCIM Business Golf Day has been going on for six years now.
Companies are encouraged to participate in this golf tournament through sponsoring a hole which entitles them to the advertising space within the course, at specific spots. These include spots in and around the Golf course and even a spread in the BOCCIM monthly newsletter. The SOLE PAR Package Single Spots are P6500.00 while birdie premium spots are allocated at P12 000 on hole 1, 18, 9 and 10.
The Motor Vehicle Accident Fund are the three year platinum sponsor effective 2011 with the amount of P100 000 each year. Other businesses further support by sponsoring prizes for winners, water, green fees and other costs related to the event. The Golf Day will end with a prize giving gala dinner for both golfers and non-golfers such as Senior Government Officials, High Commissioners & captains of the Business industry at Gaborone Sun Hotel, starting at 18:30hrs.
