Botswana has collapsed from posting the fastest growing economy in the world, to posting the fastest growing debt in the world, recent figures from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he revealed.
Between 2001 and 2026, Botswana’s net debt experienced an astonishing 167.1 percentage point, the highest in the world, far ahead on Britain which comes second with 65 percentage point over the same period.
