The Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) board proceeded with disciplinary action against its suspended Board Secretary and suspended Chief Executive Officer on Friday despite ongoing efforts by the Board Secretary to halt the process through the Industrial Court.
Court filings and correspondence seen by this publication show that suspended Board Secretary Kgotso Miles Ollyn, through his attorneys, Monthe Marumo & Co., sought an urgent interdict to stop disciplinary proceedings against him, arguing that the process was unlawful and that the issues before the court had not yet been determined.
