DTC puts up website

Despite the challenges it faces in selling diamonds, Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB) this week launched its website at its offices near Sir Seretse Khama International Airport. The company stated that the website provides a platform for communicating on how DTC Botswana is performing in the diamond trade.

The website comprises of user friendly and easy to navigate links which lead the user to various informative sections including but not limited to operations, sales and marketing, shining light awards and knowledge and press centres.

DTC Botswana’s corporate communications and public affairs manager, Kago Mmopi, said currently DTC Botswana delivers information and services to its stakeholders through communications tools such as newspapers, billboards and site tours so the website will complement the existing information platforms as well as form part of the broadcasted individual identity of the company.

“DTC Botswana hopes that the new website experience will be instrumental to all stakeholders and that the website will act as a powerful tool for positioning DTC Botswana as the largest sorting and valuing facility in the world,” stated the company spokesperson.

The website www.dtcb.co.bw or www.dtcbbotswana.com went live lunchtime Thursday.
