The newly retired former Secretary for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration in the Office of the President, Tickey Pule, has been appointed Corporate Affairs and Strategy Director by Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) and Botswana Breweries Limited (BBL).
The outgoing Corporate Affairs and Strategy Director, Thapelo Letsholo, told Sunday Standard that Pule was appointed last week and she was expected to start work at her new job on July 1.
“Tickey Pule is joining KBL & BBL, taking over from me, and her appointment has been confirmed,” said Letsholo.
However, Letsholo did not reveal where he is going.
He stated that Pule’s immediate tasks include developing and ensuring the effective implementation of corporate affairs and public relations strategies for the enhancement and protection of the company’s reputation, formulating solutions to business issues.
“She will be leading the formulation and implementation of strategic business plans across the company,” said Letsholo.
Pule held various key positions at the government enclave for many years and these include Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, PS Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs and also Director of National Museums.
She landed at KBL and BBL after her resignation from the Office of the President after she had been redeployed to head the Botswana Institute of Administration and Commerce at the beginning of the year.
