Following the pronouncement by the president to correct BDF Pensions, it was discovered that the actual exercise on the ground was only to correct transfer values by using a denominator of n375 instead of a denominator of n450 that was used to calculate transfer values in 2001 when members incorporated into BPOPF.
The reasons advanced by those who advise the minister at the Ministry of Defence and Security was that the president did not understand them, thus his pronouncements at a political rally were seemingly misplaced. By so doing, they are putting the integrity of the president in limbo.
