Is Botswana Karate turning into a bloodsport? 

“Very soon, it will be us administrators, coaches and parents fighting. Our toxic relations are spreading into the athletes” one concerned administrator laments.

This administrator’s concerns come as incidents of aggressive confrontations in the Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) regulated tournaments come to light. In the latest incident, which occurred during the national team selections, two athletes can be seen wrestling each other on the ground.
