Police say they have completed their investigations surrounding the brutal killing of John Kalafatis.
Detective Assistant Superintendent Justice Monyere, based at Gaborone Central Police Station, appointed to investigate the killing of Kalafatis, has handed over the docket to Police Headquarters.
Kenny Kapinga, the Deputy Police Commissioner of Botswana, confirmed that the docket had been handed over to his office.
“The docket is with me now, therefore I am still studying it before it is handed over to the Directorate of Public Prosecution,” he said, declining to divulge what the findings were.
Kalafatis was shot dead by military intelligence officers last month.
