Limko Sponsors Miss Bots

Limkokwiing University on Wednesday presented Miss Botswana Sumaya Marope with a cheque for 40 000 as sponsorship for her upcoming Miss world title which will be held in Johannesburg on 12 December 2009.The University also spearheaded the Production of a profile that consists documentation of the charity projects that Miss Marope has worked with during her reign as miss Botswana, these include; Kopong disadvantaged children whom she celebrated her birthday with, a gardenin project she took part with Kopong Home Based Care, A social party she had for Children with Down Syndrome at Spur in Riverwalk and a Childline Puppet show she supported in Ramotswa on the 30 October,
When presenting the cheque, Limkokwing public Relations manager Ms Mercy Thebe said her institution, “takes pride in encouraging and nurturing their students to excel outside their learnin enviroment, especially by takin part in events that will develop them as individuals. She went on to applaud miss marope who is also a student at Limkokwing for being an astonishing role model to all her peers around the country saying as a student she perfoms beyond her lecturers expectations. Sumaya flew to London last Thursday to prepare for her Miss World title.
