This past week I was privileged to meet one of the most extraordinary individuals this country has and was left wondering why I was never able to discover this individual early in life. This occurred at a seminar for Military Veterans of Botswana and this particular man was making a stunning presentation.
This fellow introduced himself as Officer Cadet Raborokgwe. This caught the attention of everyone in the room and they all started to seat upright. Raborokgwe joined BDF in 1978, just a year after the military organization was established. He admits that it was Sir Seretse Khama who had a bearing and influence in getting him to join the military.
