The on-going heavy rains wrecking havoc across the country have left a trail of destruction, displacing families and forcing some schools in Boteti District to close down.
One of the hardest hit areas is Mokoboxane village where at least 18 families were displaced by the floods and have been evacuated to a safer area. Mokoboxane village is situated close to Makgadikgadi pans and sits on the flood plains.
