According to Beyl, the Award-winning American opera, Passions, will be broadcast weekdays at 5 in the afternoon. He said Passions follows the various romantic and paranormal adventures of the residents of Harmony. “The storylines center around the interactions among members of its core families ÔÇô the Russels, Cranes, Bennets and Lopez-Fitzgeralds ÔÇô as well as the town witches Tabitha,” he said.
On the sports side, Beyl revealed that there will be loads of soccer including the Barclays Premier League.

“Make sure you grab your front row seat for this as well as other sports from golf to top flight-boxing,” he said. For those viewers who are in the mood for pain, they can tune into the internationally popular WWE wrestling on this coming Thursday 1st ÔÇô ECW on Tuesday and Smackdown on Wednesday both at 0830 in the evening.

However, it does not stop here. GBC will as well broadcast a variety of the best movies with some of the world’s top actors and riveting story-lines every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2000.
Additionally Beyl disclosed that there is also a strong local flavour with programmes such as Cribs on Thursday at 0630 in the evening where GBC will visit the homes of the rich and the famous in Gaborone to take a peak as to where they live and what they wear.

“On Fridays at 0630 in the evening, GBC will broadcast Afro Vibes Entertainment and this programme’s focal point will be the local music scenes in Gaborone. And on Sunday, at 7:30 pm, there’s Insight, a local current affairs programme.”
Viewers are urged to watch out for the exciting top international weight-loss reality programme, The Biggest Loser, to be broadcast on Mondays at 8:30, which will offer viewers tips on how to stay fit as well as how to lose weight.

Unlike other ‘reality make-over’ type shows, Beyle explained that The Biggest Loser will focus on exercising the right way, losing weight naturally and promoting positive and healthy living.
Least but not last, GBC will air up-to-the-minute English news at 7pm and in Setswana at 8pm. According to Beyl, the news will include local and international current affairs, weather, business and entertainment updates from around the globe.
