Now is not the time to  balloon the civil service with insourcing

Imagine yourself as the head of your household and your source of livelihood is cattle farming, which is something that many of us in Botswana understand. Cattle rearing is a source of livelihoods for many people, especially in our rural areas. So, imagine that on average you depend on cattle sales. Let us for argument’s sake, posit that you sell 40 cattle everyone every year to look after your family . Let us also assume that the average price per piece of your well-fed oxen is P7000 giving you an annual income of P280,000. We also note that the based on that income the family lives comfortably because of the P240 000 that you spend on their upkeep.  You are also able to take care of their basic needs and still save P40,000 in the process.
