The annual Botswana Ostrich Farmers Association (BOFA) gala dinner has been scheduled for September 8 at Phakalane Golf Estate.
BOFA chairperson Thabo Mokwena says the Vice President, Mokgweetsi Masisi is expected to officiate.
The Minister of Agriculture Development and Food Security, Patrick Ralotsia is expected to give closing remarks.
“Another invited speaker was the late former president and renowned ostrich farmer, Sir Ketumile Masire but his farm manager for 15 years will give a talk,” said Mokwena.
He said 200 tickets have been printed for the dinner, where the merry makers will be served with ostrich meat and eggs.
“Like any business event of its type, ostrich products like egg shells artifacts and others will be on display for interested invitees,” he said.
