The way we speak about men and women of God is disturbing. Recently pastors have been persecuted for this and that, some have been called fraudsters, thieves etc. Although some of the persecutors are non Christians the trend has departed as this is also done by some pastors against other pastors.
It is shocking to hear a pastor standing on a pulpit in front of a congregation talking negatively about another pastor, yet they claim that they are serving God. The Bible made us to understand that as Christians we are one in the body of Christ Jesus. Some men and women of God preach negatively about Prophet TB Joshua in their churches because their members visit Synagogue church of All Nations Lagos Nigeria. To stand on a pulpit & preach about another pastor is a way of bringing yourself low before your congregation because it shows you did not prepare your sermon and hence have nothing to deliver or may be you are not confident about your calling. Even though the bible says we should admonish one another with biblical facts, but not in the manner some pastors go about it when it is Prophet T.B Joshua, they judge and condemn alright, ignoring what the bible says in Luke chapter 6 verse 37 (Luke 6:37) and Matthew 7:1; who are you to judge?
Why is it wrong to visit another church? Honestly if pastors are not careful about what they say on pulpits, this will result in churches loosing members.
People are hungry for the Gospel and want salvation don’t discourage them by criticizing other pastors. Nowadays some Christian have quit church in turmoil and want nothing to do with churches thereafter because of what has been said by other men of God. If you are amongst such pastors do you know the wrath you are putting on yourselves by talking badly about God’s messengers?
Please Children of God lets tame our tongue and join hands in winning souls not destroying souls. God called you as a Christian moreover a pastor to be fishers of men (human being), to win souls, not to with hold or withdraw souls, Luke 15:7.
It is time people share the same conviction with Prophet TB Joshua of serving all nations by changing lives. God never permits anyone to say negative things about another man or woman of God, not in God pulpit! But this man, Prophet TB Joshua has endured a lot of accusation, such as stealing people’s church members, defrauding people, being a Satanist etc.
I have realised that Prophet TB Joshua is a true, selected man of God because he has never retaliated, that is what a man of God does, because he believes that vengeance belongs to the almighty God. He always emphasize that visitors should go back and serve in their churches. Is that how a thief speaks?
God is increasing him more and more. He does not charge people, it is the coordinators in our countries who are charging for their service not the SCOAN. He always maintains that salvation is for free. Some locals have benefited from the widows programme but all those good deeds are not said in the pulpits. Children of God lets act love to encourage those outside the camp.
Pastors, Apostles, Evangelists, deacons, elders and such alike in the Christian camp, identify your own area of calling, concentrate, nurture, develop it and use to it for the glory of God. Just like in the medical practice, there is a nurse, pharmacist, dentist, optician, orthopedist, cardiologist, dermatologist, gynecologist, surgeon, anesthetist, etc. A specialist doctor even refers a patient to another if the ailment is not what he can treat, he does not condemn another specialist or discourage the patient from seeing another specialist.
So men and women of God it is right time you stop criticizing one another. You are not anointed to be a judge or a critic but to preach the good tidings to the lost; this is where your reward is. You will not get any reward for passing judgement or condemnation on others. Our God is all knowing and do not need our assistance in any area including judgement.
