Ramaeba moves to ABC Mozambique

The African Banking Corporation’s Senior Dealer, Mmoloki Ramaeba, is being moved to the bank’s operations in Mozambique where he will be a senior Exchange Trader. This signals Botswana’s influence in the regional corporate movements.
He is moving to Mozambique’s SARL from January 1, 2007.

Ramaeba is currently the Senior Dealer at African Banking Corporation of Botswana Limited. He joined the African Banking Corporation family at the time of the merger in November 2000 as a Foreign Exchange Dealer. Prior to that he worked for the Bank of Botswana and the First National Bank of Botswana Limited, where he gained a wealth of experience in Treasury.

Ramaeba has been in the banking field his entire working life, having started his carrier in 1996 with the First National Bank of Botswana Limited as a Banking Executive Trainee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Botswana with a major in Economics and is currently reading for a Masters in Strategic Management due for completion next year.

He has attended a number of Euromoney training courses and has certification in Technical Trading. Through attachments, Ramaeba has also gained valuable exposure to banking in Europe, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
