Botswana Couriers moves to new home

Botswana Couriers has unveiled its new Head Office building. The building was officially opened by the Botswana Couriers Board chairman, Thari Pheko.

Speaking at a ceremony held to mark the official opening, Pheko said, “It is our desire to establish Botswana Couriers as a truly globally competitive company with its roots firmly in Botswana. We acknowledge that to establish a premier logistics company, coupled with an intention to be a more recognisable brand globally requires dedication and hard work. I am happy to say Botswana Couriers is in the capable hands of a highly professional and creative team.”

The building, situated on Plot 89, Tshukudu Road at the Commerce Park, will allow Botswana Couriers in addition to its normal courier services the ability to provide clearing and forwarding, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution services.

“This is the dawn of a new era. Through this transition we are showcasing the beginning of bigger and better things to come from Botswana Couriers. We have been a sleeping giant, and it is now time for us to push towards the mark, and unleash our full potential. From our new home we will be able to better deliver full logistics solutions for our clients,” said Leatile Medupe, General Manager of Botswana Couriers. Medupe further noted that Botswana Couriers would be targeting internationally based businesses without representation in Botswana to provide logistics solutions to.

In conclusion, Pheko said, “We are beginning to see change in how the corporate world looks at us, and this new home for Botswana Couriers is one of the many changes we shall see in the near future.”
