Sefalana Holding Company Limited has sought to draw a line between a winding-up petition against one of its subsidiaries and the financial health of the wider group, saying the dispute with a South African supplier does not signal distress.
Sefalana Cash & Carry Limited is facing a claim of about ZAR10 million, equivalent to roughly P190 million, from a South African company that has approached the High Court of Botswana seeking its winding-up over amounts allegedly owed.
