Sharp minded Yarona eyes history as BNOC’s first woman president 

As a lawyer, former national athlete and now a sports administrator, aspiring Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) president Yarona Sharp knows a thing or two about fairness and advocacy.

These seem to be the overarching tenets as she launched her campaign for the presidency with a call for fair, transparent, and inclusive leadership. Sharp, who has served two terms on the BNOC board, has launched her campaign under the slogan “Together for a Stronger Sporting Nation.”
