Stanbic Bank Botswana has appointed Lerato Chana Sekgororoane to the post of Head of Personal Banking, effective immediately.
As Head of Personal Banking, Sekgororoane is tasked with developing the Personal Banking portfolio, which includes developing the branch network, enhancing customer service, continuing to grow the Group Schemes and Home Loans Divisions.
Craig Bouwer, Director of Personal and Business Banking, says; “This appointment is yet another example of Stanbic Bank Botswana’s commitment to developing and growing our local talent. The Head of Personal Banking role is a critical function and is key to the long term growth strategy of the bank. Chana brings a wealth of experience to this important position and we are confident that she will make a significant impact in this area.”
Chana Sekgoroane’s appointment comes after a successful term as Head of Home Loans at Stanbic Bank. In this position, her duties included growing the business, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and operational administration. One of Chana’s noteworthy achievements in this position was that of her accolade as the “2009 Best Home Loan Head for Stanbic Bank Africa.”
With less than four years with the bank where she started off as an Account Executive with Corporate Banking, Chana has proven to be both highly motivated and results-orientated.
Chana Sekgororoane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Social Science, from the University of Botswana.
