Stanchart launches auto loans

As a way of improving service delivery and increasing the portfolio of products available to clients, Standard Chartered Bank has launched Auto loans.

The launch started with an internal staff launch recently as the staff was treated to a fun filled day, with a chance to test drive latest cars from authorized car dealers.

Standard Chartered Bank Head of Consumer Banking, Duncan Woods, said at the launch that many clients requested for auto loans and the bank has responded to that by launching it in Botswana. He added that it is part of strategy by increasing the financial solutions to clients.

“We are pleased to announce the re-launch of auto loans for our staff and customers. As a Bank we pride ourselves in bringing solutions closer to our customers.┬á Our philosophy is to provide responsive, innovative, creative and tailored financial solutions to all our customers,” said Woods.┬á

He revealed that the auto loan facility will be available to Standard Chartered Bank customers from January 2013.

Woods was optimistic that staff will get you on the road in no time, with quick approvals, reliable after-sales service, no hidden charges and the best motor insurance package in town. He pointed out that the Standard Chartered auto loans are available for financing both new and second-hand cars.

“The bank is specifically targeting our affluent priority and excel customers,” he said.

Woods stated that the bank staff qualifies for special rate and added that for the first 10 staff will get free 100 litres of fuel. He further said that the bank good deals with dealers such as Mahindra, Isuzu, Mercedes Benz, Jeep and Chevrolet.  He pointed out that the service has speedy approvals financing the car quickly with a minimum amount of formalities He stated that there are flexible terms auto loans offer tenures of up to 60 months.

“We offer some of the most attractive interest rates in the market, we pride ourselves on transparency, what you see is what you pay for,” said Woods.

He further pointed out that auto finance consultants are available to offer efficient on-the spot service and was also optimistic that the bank will continue to strive to lead the way and to be here for good in Botswana.
