The disputed Rasesa Village chieftainship may return to the courts

By the time this story is published, top level exchange of notes concerning the bogosi at the village of Rasesa near Mochudi may have taken place in the corridors of power in Gaborone. Such exchanges may have centered on whether the High Court order of Juny 2023 declaring the appointment of a certain Kagiso Buisanyang to the position of the village headman of record was unreasonable, unlawful and invalid. That order was in favour of a group of applicants who had filed an application challenging that appointment.
