The law is one of the most unpredictable subjects in life. In fact, it is one of the oldest professions only paralleled by prostitution. The Bible being the oldest book of the law or the Torah as the Jewish people call it, is still one of the most debated pieces of literature if one may call it.
The number of denominations in our country is testimony to how difficult the interpretation of the law of God has become. These churches have varied doctrines derived from the same holy book.
I find the Roman-Dutch law as one of the most confused. The law may prescribe one thing and end up pronouncing something else. For instance, they say justice delayed is justice denied. But many acquittals happen as a result of delays to get the case to trial. In the long process of the law, evidence gets eroded and some witnesses die as the cases drags on.
