The World Bank needs to avoid mission creep

I happen to be on the mailing list of the IMF and as a result, receive useful cutting-edge publications on economic trends from the global lender. However, I must confess that lately, I have begun to take little interest in the reports that the IMF produces because I have discerned that, like many international organisations, it has been taken over by left-wing activists. With that takeover, now every piece of information that they produce has to reverberate with climate change fervour. It is as if climate change has now become the end-and-be-all of the work of the IMF.
