Unemployment was Batswana’s top priority ahead of elections

As Batswana headed to the polls on October 30, unemployment emerged as the leading concern among citizens, according to a recent Afrobarometer survey.

The findings reveal that unemployment far outweighed other pressing issues, including health, crime, poverty, education, and corruption, as the nation grappled with economic challenges.
