The first thing you do when you are in a hole is to acknowledge the problem and stop digging. And once you have stopped digging, then you can. mitigate it. Otherwise, the problem will keep on worsening. One therefore hopes that we are at a point where we have stopped digging and acknowledge that we have to do something about our economic situation as a country.
