What’s the role of Leader of the House 

Leader of the House (LOH) also called LEADER OF GOVERNMENT BUSINESS, is yet another important office in the Westminster type of Parliamentary system that is worth discussing. The executive-legislative fusion, which is a key aspect of the Westminster style, makes the working relationship between the executive and Parliament close and frequent. So, LOH facilitates this working partnership between the executive and the legislative branch. He or she is the chief government representative and its spokesperson in the House. He manages all government representatives, that is Cabinet, in Parliament. He or she can be a directly or specially elected Member who is in Cabinet. In other words, he or she must be a Minister and traditionally , it has been a role reserved for the Vice President. However, three former Ministers who were not Vice Presidents served in the position at some point.
