The inaugural Varsities Economic Empowerment Day 2010 will take place on the 16th and 17th September at the University of Botswana Student Centre.
The 2010 VEED is an initiative tasked with the umbrella aim of providing a forum for the business community to interact with the student community in order to share ideas as well as experiences on how the students can realize their business aspirations as well as better prepare them for the hurdles associated with going into business.
The event will equip the student community with the necessary business skills that they have to hone in order to make it as future business leaders.
The 2010 VEED will inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship and economic empowerment among the students as well as to other attendees of the event. The event will also act as a business exposition, Career Fair, business conference and internship opportunity programme all under one roof, which is what makes it unique and the perfect platform for any youth.
