Zahara to perform in Gaborone again

South African singing sensation, Zahara, will be coming back once again to perform in Gaborone at the All That Jazz festival and is billed to perform at Lion’s Park Resort.

Speaking to The Telegraph, one of the show’s organizers, Joshua Ruzvidzo, from Dladleng Entertainment, said that the show, which is set to take place on 24 March, will give Zahara’s fans an opportunity to see her perform live at a cheaper price. He said that, unlike last year when the price was too steep for some people to afford, this time around they will be able to do so because a ticket costs P250 while the VIP ticket costs double the amount.

As part of the line up arrangement, Zahara is set to perform just close to midnight after a few local jazz acts.

Ruzvidzo pointed out that they have also managed to secure some of Botswana music heavyweights, such as Lister Boleseng, Banjo Mosele, Shanti Lo, Punah Gabasiane and more to set the stage ablaze.
South African Johnny Mokhali is also set to perform at the jazz event.

Ruzvidzo added that this will be the first year for the event to take place but it is something that they plan to hold on an annual basis.

He said they had also gone the extra mile and ensured that the show, which is planned to start at 5pm, continues till the following morning.

Ruzvidzo assure those going to the show that they will get value for their money because of the line up as well as the extended hours that will see the show continue until the early morning.

“The show is unique in that it is truly a summer festival as it will be held in open space as compared to shows that usually take place indoors,” he said, adding that those attending the show will have access to enjoy and explore the resort’s facilities as well.
