BMD opens Francistown office

Botswana Movement for Democracy recently opened an office in Francistown as part of its nationwide mobilization campaign.

BMD Vice Chairman, Botsalo Ntuane, said the launch of the Francistown office is a milestone in the party’s history, as Francistown is the party’s stronghold.

“I am very confident that the opening of the new office in the Francistown East Constituency will enable us to wrestle the constituency from the ruling Botswana Democratic Party in 2014,” he said.
Ntuane told BMD members that they have to sacrifice their time and resources to ensure that the party is able to grow and sustain itself. He said the office will be a serving point for BMD members and those who are willing to join the party.

He said that the BMD will soon open its headquarters in Gaborone.
BMD spokesperson Sidney Pilane also pleaded with party members to operate as a united force. Pilane told BMD members that the party was formed to save Batswana from adversity.
