Botswana’s Fintech enrolls with Nigeria’s CcHub

Founders of Seriti Insights, a local fintech company that developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution dubbed have announced that the company will join another startup, Scoot Logistics to be part of the 2022 cohort of Nigerian based, CcHub (Co-Creation Hub)’s SeedR program.

CcHub Extended its reach to Botswana this year through its six months SeedR acceleration program which aims at assisting early-stage technology startups like Seriti Insights to develop into sustainable entities and raise funding through its syndicate platform. It emerged last week that the local fintech, Seriti Insights will be participating in the SeedR which is divided into two stages.

A statement from the founders of Seriti says the first phase will be focused on helping the startups improve their product, build efficient teams, initiate & navigate partnerships and build a structure that makes the companies attractive to investors. The second phase of the program will focus on raising a seed round for each company to accelerate early growth, with the rounds being led by CcHUB Syndicate.

Co-Founder and Chief Executive at Seriti Insights, Nomsa Makgabenyana says there is real alignment between what the local fintech is trying to achieve with its and CcHub.

We are already receiving invaluable feedback and help from the experts at CcHub and we cannot wait to leverage that knowledge to improve our product: We are also looking forward to the creation of valuable partnerships whether in the marketing space or AI-Natural Language Processing space. was built with the intention and conviction that we are going to scale this product to the rest of the continent to benefit Africa’s brands and creating partnerships will be instrumental in achieving that goal”, says Makgabenyana.

CcHub or Co-Creation Hub is regarded as one of the largest innovation hubs in Africa having displayed a quintessential level of dedication towards accelerating the application of social capital and technology for economic prosperity in the continent. Over the last 10 years, the hub has supported the development and launch of more than 650 innovative technology startups solving social challenges across Africa in areas including, education, fintech, health-care delivery, and sustainability.

Seriti Insights’s is an online media intelligence and social listening tool that seeks to educate and inform clients on the value of tracking, monitoring, and analysis. Through the power of artificial intelligence and applied machine learning, carefully mines historical and real-time data to help brands and companies understand consumer sentiments for insightful decision-making, no matter their language and style in linguistics. During the launch in April, Seriti executives shared that is tailored to enable users to manage their brand reputation, identify online mentions, gain consumer intelligence and more using a mix of algorithms that capture and comprehend 87 percent of data that is missed by traditional media tools that would otherwise be left out. Seriti Insights executives previously gave a glance at the company’s need to close $350 000 seed round to supercharge ambitions to scale across the continent.
